Yes, along with my father two of the best fighter pilots (of course in my opinion) to come out of West Point. Fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. My father played football for West Point as well as taught there for a time.

Nothing wrong with showing respect for your country/countrymen. If I were in the military in some weird alternate universe, I'd want it to be in a capacity as honorable.

(not everyone feels the need to go out drinking and swearing anyways)

The thing that I do think is wrong about this is the height and waistsize restrictions.

I understand very well the honouring fallen friends and comrades, and that importance. And I understand very well the sircumstances under which some bodies were brought ( Get familiar with what happened around here, just a couple of days ago ). You can spare me the lecture, and you can spare me the 'Indignant Internet bully' behavior as well. My response was to the claim, that I, for some reason, can't have an honest debate about the need in such measures, without dishonoring those soldiers who died in battle, to the claim that I am somehow dishonourable, myself.

I'm not talking about one post, bub. I'm talking about the whole pile of **** you and some other ***** have dumped in the whole thread. You were just handy.

As for why unnamed... just to let a mental midget like you in on the secret, it is not because they don't know the names, it is because there is not enough left to hang a name on some of the remains. It might just be a cultural thing, but most people around here like to know just who it is that is getting buried. The fact that these are unidentifiable is generally taken as a powerful reminder not only of their sacrifice, but of just what 'modern' war does to human beings. Maybe that answers one of your other moronic posts.
