Well, the states on top of the list given for IQ are generally the richest states in term of PCI.

IQ tests in general are a poor measure of anything, as much as the findings would tickle my funny bone.

As for JohnT's questions- yes, in general the poorer states do vote Republican, since the poorer states are low density ones in the Midwest or Southern states.

IQ tests are very culturally biased. It's a well known problem with them.
