Indeed, the concern is worldwide...

It would appear his superiors frown upon activities such as posting threads like this and that is why he no longer posts updates in this thread.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. EDIT: But I should not be too harsh, we used to have similar rules too, back in the Cold War when I was in the service. You were not supposed to do things like discuss politics or participate in demonstrations while in uniform. And last time they called me for a refreshment excercise, we were not allowed to bring mobile phones. But society has changed dramatically since then. Now policemen in uniform could even participate in the Gay Pride parade without risk of getting punishment.Last edited by Chemical Ollie; September 10, 2004, 16:54.So get your Naomi Klein books and move it or I'll seriously bash your faces in! - Supercitizen to stupid students

Well, it should not be news to anyone, but his posts have once again confirmed the notion that NCO's get a lot more done w/o officers mucking about.
Perhaps they (the officer corp) don't like to look bad. Course it was never like that back in VietNam era.
Get short; get out.

Too bad.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Here is a link to a Los Angeles Times story about Iraq blogs by soldiers from the Sunday, September 5, 2004 edition.
This is a link to the NPR.org story refered to in the LA Times article.
Military officials are cracking down on blogs written by soldiers and Marines in Iraq, saying some of them reveal sensitive information. Critics say it's an attempt to suppress unflattering truths about the U.S. occupation.
And a link to the Dagger JAG blog in the NPR story.

Technically, that's incorrect. I would say we're not suppose to say what the other clearences are, but I've heard them referenced in Stargate: SG-1Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.
