It doesn't quite work like that, any short term measures used to improve Britons at the expense of others will have repurcussions since global economics are so fluid

By preventing the outsourcing of jobs to India and Eastern Europe it will benifit workers here in the long term. I would not support all protectionist measures but measures that will protect British jobs without having a major adverse effect on the British economy should be put in place, in my opinion.

But that is an inefficiency gained to business, referring to outsourcing, which isn't good for British jobs. I am a free-market advocate though.

Whaleboy, look at the recent newstory of phone companies outsourcing jobs to India. They are already making profit yet the bosses decide they want more money. And how do they increase profits? They pay Indians to do the job for half the cost. We should have laws to prevent this. Afterall who gains from this, the only winners are the bosses who can now write themeselves a higher paycheck and Indians who do not provide a service as well as the previous workers because most of them can't speak English very well.

The english in much of India is good, and improving. Furthermore, the Indians are benefiting, whereas the recourse for British workers is greater than the Indians alternative.

Laws to prevent outsourcing will simply involve companies moving out or lesser profits, neither are good for the British economy, and in the long term, that is far more damaging.

According to the last census, I think it was around that figure, a little higher perhaps.

It's 1.6 million. Or 2.7% of the population. Only half of them attend mosques on a regular basis, IIRC. I doubt that they'll become anything like a majority within a century.

I'd be willing to bet that Britain gains more jobs from foreign companies who outsource to Britain than they lose through British companies who outsource to foreign countries. That's the case here in the US anyway...

Herein lies one of my points of disagreement with the BNP. Like I said though, you don't support a party because you agree with all of its policies, and vice versa, you don't dislike a party just because it has one or two policies you dislike.
