      It was Cobain's personal choice, don't ask me.

            64 Kbps to 80 Kbps WMA reportedly sounds identical to CD quality to most users in double-blind tests.
            Most users reportedly can't tell the difference between a 64kbps WMA and a large hole drilled into their head.

                Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

                  Thanks to Asher's ad campaign in his posts, the worldwide ipod mini release has been delayed to July as US demand is so strong that Apple is having trouble keeping up with demand.

The board's opinion does not a legal precedent make. It might carry some weight in a test case, though.

                        And you're right to point out that the upload's illegal anyway.

                            the government can suck my balls

                            seriously, is this what you want? i mean, you can see the bang-up job they do with medicare and spending, are you sure you want this administration to fellate you as well?

                            some of us have standards, you know.

                            The growing consensus is Apple is screwing itself from a potentially lucrative monopoly by locking the iPod and iTunes together.

                            obviously, rob glazer of realnetworks is merely a microsoft stooge.

                            ======

                            but seriously: i don't really care much for these online music stores.
