That article seems to be talking about the old Finder. Some of the things he complains about have been rectified in the current version. And it looks like Apple has listened to him, as the new Finder is much more itunes like.Only feebs vote.Comment

That said, I'm not a fan of the new interface shown in the screenshots for Longhorn. Fortunately, they are easily set back to Classic mode, and, more importantly, those screenshots aren't of Avalon and Aero, which are only built in the HCI labs at MS right now. All of the released ones still use GDI+ and placeholders.
