Well Adam Smith won it twice, IIRC... so you have some competition, dammit!

        One juggernaut falls...

Washington ends Stanford's chance for Pac-10 history

SEATTLE -- Top-ranked Stanford lost for the first time this season, falling 75-62 to unranked Washington on Saturday.

Tre Simmons scored 16 points to help Washington end the Cardinal's effort to complete the first 18-0 season in Pac-10 Conference history. On Thursday night, the Cardinal rallied to beat Washington State on a last-second shot.

Stanford (26-1, 17-1) shot only 39 percent, had 18 turnovers and was in foul trouble most of the game that ended with Huskies fans storming the floor and dancing in jubilation.

The loss left Saint Joseph's (27-0) as the only undefeated team in the country. The Hawks are attempting to become the first team to enter the NCAA Tournament unbeaten since UNLV in 1991.

Washington (17-10, 12-6) won for the 12th time in its past 13 conference games. It was only the second time that the Huskies have beaten a top-ranked team.
        MWAHAHAHAHA.

All that needs to happen is for UNC to destroy Duke in Cameron and the night will be complete.

We will be entering this tournament with... no undefeated teams. St. Joseph's is currently getting its ass kicked by Xavier to the tune of 74-40 with about seven minutes left. This likely puts Stanford back on top going into the tournament, assuming *they* get through *their* conference tournament in one piece.

I'm glad the Hawks won't be going in with the pressure. I just hope the NCAA doesn't deny them a #1 seed.

ESPN has their colored judgement color commentators split over whether St. Joes will still be a #1 seed. They lost once all year, and to an Xavier team that's looking for a place in the tournament. D!ckie V's Dukies lost to PURDUE and a "lock" as a number 1 team
