I don't remember that. I suppose that makes me one of the plebs that would prefer to see programs created that the people want (it is a public service after all Laz?), rather than a few programs for the intellectual snobbery of a few.

Exactly! My proposal does away with advertising. Pay-per-view, pay for quality.

High quality, high cost programs could be provided if customers and the market will bear them.

Obtaining revenue by proxy (advertising) is a very poor alternative.
