I think this thread should move to the community forum before it's killed.

I've also asked about a stand-alone fiction forum. Guess what the response was.

i wouldn't post there myself, but i'd lurk there for sure...
and it would be an asset to the scenario community, wouldn't it?I wasn't born with enough middle fingers.

Yes, I'd like a history forum too, but I'm afraid I can't see it happening. It was suggested in the community forum over a year ago and despite there being a substantial amount of interest, it was shot down then.STDs are like pokemon... you gotta catch them ALL!!!

this thread should be in the apoly community forum
but my opinion is that you won't find a better
History Forum than the one at FFZ.
there are some really interesting threads started there.
Chris does an awesome job of starting intelligent and interesting history topics. i don't post much since i don't know a lot about most of the topics but i do read it quiet often.Last edited by boann; January 10, 2004, 18:12."If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun." -Katherine Hepburn

Lurking in history-forum would be more enjoyable because of the possible higher quality of the posts... I'd be for a specific history-forum, but the way I've understood it, ACS is already having too many users and too many users -- so Administrators don't want to encourage the forum to grow with such actions.
So probably we aren't going to see it. And I can live with that.
