Note that there's no "general fiction". Only SMAC fiction, Civ3 fiction and other gaming-related fiction.
I've also asked about a stand-alone fiction forum. Guess what the response was.

Yes, I'd like a history forum too, but I'm afraid I can't see it happening.
It was suggested in the community forum over a year ago and despite there being a substantial amount of interest, it was shot down then.

but my opinion is that you won't find a better
History Forum than the one at FFZ.
there are some really interesting threads started there.

Lurking in history-forum would be more enjoyable because of the possible higher quality of the posts... I'd be for a specific history-forum, but the way I've understood it, ACS is already having too many users and too many users -- so Administrators don't want to encourage the forum to grow with such actions.
So probably we aren't going to see it. And I can live with that.Comment
