While I ordinarily have no regard for seniority privilege, I must say that it's rather presumptuous to call diplo "kid" when he's been on this board for about ten times as long as you have.

That's all I was saying. Fare thee well.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

How the hell Flip McHugh has managed to become a regular member of this forum without losing his MIND, I'll never know. He must really love Rise of Nations.
Na joined ages ago cause of civ3. Been here since before civ3 came out. Besides Rise is dead on here now. These guys are great anyway. I mainly hang in OT now.

Why? Because I used the term 'IP' and that triggered off some memory of 5th Grade when little Timmy O'Conner (you know the guy, always getting in trouble for making spit wads, making fart noises with his armpit etc) spent a considerable portion of the day declaring "I.P Freely"?

Seriously though, what has this all taught us? Personally, and I'd like to thank Dr Phil for the following revelation, it's taught me that human beings need more outcome criteria. Or...maybe this thread was a complete and utter waste of time.

                          Oh well.

                            I vote for the latter.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

well, for me it's obvious... Ollie Oliver is Hippi's DL, that's the secret meaning of the thread title ("Ollie Oliver is a hippie"), he was giving hints about his identity.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.
