  • Yep, with three starters in the All-Star Game .

And it answer to Ming's question about whether Oklahoma fans care about the Big 12 Championship game. Not that much.

OU-Texas and OU-OSU are the two most important game to us now, OU-Nebraska got the wind sucked out of it since we can't play each other every year now.

And Oklahoma did just fine in those two games.

      • It's easy not to care about the game when nothing is on the line.

        • A passing game based on short passes probably also wouldn't survive if the wind is that great. Once again look at Willingham and the problems he is having at Notre Dame.
To be fair, he's only had two years, the first of which was surpirsingly successful. Also, the QB that he had was manifestly unsuitable for the West Coast offense.

The jury is still out on Willingham and I'm willing to give him some time to do his thing.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

It's obvious that you didn't watch Tim Rattay and Troy Edwards light Nebraska up with the short passing game a few years back...

Anyway, I find it funny that Imran think Alberts is a moron now. Just a couple weeks ago, he was defending Alberts when his column was a diatribe against the BCS. I called him a moron; now, you're agreeing with me. I'm wearing you down, buddy, I'm wearing you down...

            • Callahan is an average NFL coach with little experience in recruitment.

In the past, Callahan was ranked as one of the nation's top recruiters

It's a good thing Bill Callahan has a history of recruiting because he has his work cut out for him at Nebraska.

edit: I'm also not finding any articles claiming Pelini is gone. This one mentions him leaving the office with a box of stuff, but there's no confirmation that he's actually leaving. This article and others mention than Callahan is going to meet with all the assistants on Monday and make his decisions on retention then. From what I'm reading, it's likely that Pelini may leave (probably of his own accord), but it's not a done deal yet.
