USC played a crappy schedule. They are 3.

37th in the country is a 'crappy' schedule? And both polls say they are #1.

I mean, they're not even playing a tough opponent in thier bowl.

I don't recall you saying this BEFORE the bowl. A 2 loss team with the 14th toughest schedule in the country isn't a 'tough' opponent... oh how you justify .

    Sorry, they lose.

Actually they probably will get a share of the national championship if they win.

USC should be embarresed to even be in a bowl. Crap...playing Michigan. And in the Rose Bowl. It's like they lost track of the last 10 years of sports history and are a flashback to the old days.

Why should they be embarassed? They are playing one of the best teams in the country and look like they are going to get a tie for #1 .

                Bowl Championship SCREWED!

USC wins, and probably gets a split of the national championship! 28-14, but seemed more dominating than the final score.

Well... they went into the game in the number position in both real polls... and won. They sure look like the national champions to me

Texas lost due to lack of preparation and/or poor coaching. Should've stuck to what they do best and given the ball to Benson and VY. Fire Davis and Reese!

Blackistone's article in the Dallas Morning News explains the problems perfectly.

Oregon did NOT beat the stuffing out of Michigan. They played well, they played better than Michigan, and they won. But just barely.

USC, on the other hand, slapped us around like we were the Republican Guard.

Hey Guy, what happened to your NCAA 2004 tourney? Who won?

Did your playoff have co-national champions?
