IIRC, it was Alexandria or someplace in that vicinity that had special counter-battery trebuchets mounted on towers on the city walls. These had 65 foot plus cantilevered arms, and they could put a 100 lb projectile well within 100 feet accuracy at a range of about two miles, and do it repeatedly at a few rounds per minute.Originally posted by Sava

My favorite at the moment is the Predator drone. It flies about with no pilot and shoots things. I don't have a picture of it but you might know what it looks like since it's been on the news.
