    Hebrew and Yiddish.

Good you identified the Yiddish - how'd you realize it wasnt misspelled German?
I knew you can write in Hebrew. You even mentioned that in your post.

But anyways, I figured that since you're a New Yorker who knows Hebrew, and Yiddish has been more prevalent there than Hebrew (at least in the past), it seemed likely you'd know Yiddish as well.

          About the issue:
Of course the guerilla won't stop at once after Saddam's capture. Whatever his involvement in the guerilla, it was impossible he masterminded everything, if only because of the lack of good communication infrastructure (do you think he'd use a phone )

Besides, the Iraqi guerilla is a patchwork of plenty different opinions, only united in their opposition to the invading US. I don't see the Islamists stop their attacks over this, and I don't see the nationalists do it either. Besides, it is doubtful that Saddam had any precise knoyledge of the Islamists' operations.

The guerilla will continue to fight. However, it has taken a serious blow. At last the civilians can be relieved of the fear of Saddam. And they're likely not to 'welcome' the Fedayeen as they did in the past.

Spiff: The guerillas ( or Partisans, as they're amourously called by Russian State TV. ) are composed from two groups: islamists, both local and foreign, and remnants of the Old regime. IIRC, the Iraqi chief of staff is still at large, for example.

Saddam in no way ran the resistance, but I but he was still the figurehead that most of the groups used. I wouldn't be suprised if some of the gurrilla commanders claimed to be in personal contact with them to lend legitimacy to their own fighters. And even if they were not linked to Saddam at all, a victory for America in any area is their defeat, and will continue to demoralize them regardless. I bet many will say ^$&$ it and go home, espcially when since the civilian populous is quickly becoming more confident and less scared. These groups live off the fear of the inhabitants of the land, and Saddam no longer scares them.

The Arab Nationalists aren't (and haven't been) fighting for Saddam even nominally. They've largely seperated their aims from his regime. They're fighting to prevent Shia rule. Look at what's been going in Falluja.

According to the local paper, to which I obviously can't provide a link, a briefcase containing a lot of information about the resistance movement was found on Saddam's person when he was captured. Coalition forces were reported to have begun making sweeps of some of the leaders. Personally I was surprised that he had retained some sort of leadership role in the resistence, given his disheveled appearence in the latest news photographs. He looked like he had been dropped down a hole and forgotten.

I'd imagine that he certainly had some role....in the early war/pre-war days, but that whatever he was doing by now would be mainly helping some very small specific groups (ie: far from the majority of the resistance, and far from a major coordinating position) and taking care of his own backside....

The early Roman Republic sent afew decade fighting gurg in Spain. Franco spent alot of time fighting gurg in spain. India is fighting gurg in over half of the states there for the last 20 years in some place, in some place than lone India soldier is conside dead really fast. India like to consider itself than superpower or regional power not when they are fighting freedom fighter in half of they states who didnot want to be apart of India in the first place. India cannot use nuclear weapon on these freedom fighter without destorying what they want.

I than sorry that I called you supid. First any inspecting progran will only detect large scale reasearch or manufacting of nuclear weapon not small scale reasearch or manufacting of then. In fact than small scale fast bleeder reactor can be more efficient than a large scale fast bleeder reactor. All nuclear reactor use UO instead of pure U as they fuel. In a fast bleeder reactor you are turn U238 into Pu239 if 10 kg or more of pure Pu239 form in ome lump if will explose than a unplaned nuclear blast of up to 1000 ton of tnt destorying the fast bleeder reactor an speading radioactive waste over than large area, that why they donot use in faster bleeder reactor pure uranium 238 but only the UO form and they remove the rod regulate to remove the Pu. In small fast bleeder reactor that only use 5 kg rod instead of 2 ton rod you can use pure U238 an keep it there untril it turn into Pu239 with out any fear of than nuclear blast. Iran is useing laser beam to seperate Uranium into it two major isotope U235 which make up 3% and U238 which make up 97 %. With Laser beam seperation you donot needed that much centidure equipment to spin the inpue uranium to seperate
the two. The Internation Atomic Energy Com know that Iran have lots of nuclear weapons and there is nothing they can do about it. Drug lord use small lab to manufactor drug for the same reason in fact they use small lab that can ne broken drown for fact moveing to other place. The set up is than classical chemisty still setup. Than hight school chem student can be taught how to turn morphine
                              base into heron without touble.
