Personally I don't think she's that terrible. Every time I hear her speak she sounds quite intelligent. Admittedly I don't know her stance on most issues, but on those that I do she seems pretty consistant. Anyone have more information about her?

as for carol mosely braun, the only thing i remember about her is she flew over to nigeria to visit a dictator.

Q Cubed - I wasn't necessarily talking about the Falklands war. I was just saying that she was a scary old lady, and if she were in office today, I'm sure she'd be 100% in favour of this war against Iraq.

I just did some reading on Braun. I don't like her stance on Affirmative Action, but I do like her stance on healthcare, the war in Iraq, and education. Then again, that's how I feel about most Dems. She does sound quite intelligent when she speaks, though.

This thread just proves what I have been thinking for the last 4 years: WHERE IS THE DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP??

The Candidates:

Dean (C-);

Positives: Front-runner, can generate cash
Negatives: Left of Tassador, will lose election (probably in landslide)

Clark (D+)

Positives: Wont get pushed by the Bushies patriotic wrap themselves up-in-the-flag tradition of bashing democrats.

Negatives: Too closely alligned to Bush administration, fails to mobilize support from core democrats.

Kerry (D):

Positives: Vietnam Vet, moderate democrat

Negatives: Accusations of illegal killings under his direct command, fails to inspire majority of democrats

Lieberman (F):

Positives: None
Negatives: Boring...Boring...His religion (Jewish)

All the rest are just living the dream......
