Hey, Asmodean specified --
Name your "Stupid Movies"
The kind of movies that most people seem to like, but that you personally think is both a load of crap and totally stupid.
Mine --
--the odd-numbered Star Trek films
--The Blair Witch Project
--Matrix Reloaded
Personally, I thought "Good Will Hunting" was excellent. Good "Bahstahn" culture references, good performances by all primary cast emembers, and a script that hung together pretty well.
Her performance in this film convinced me that Minnie Driver is an excellent actor.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

That reminds me of Charlies Angels...
The first one was boring, but at least there were something to look at...
The second one was boring, and there weren't much to look at (They were running around in weird costumes all the time)This space is empty... or is it?

Right, beside "Fight Club" (and "the Game"), lessee...
Reservoir Dogs (incredibly stagey, no plot, way below all other QT films.)
2001: a space odyssey (Kubrick's low point, awful science-gobledygook-effects-****ery, dated trip scenes, beat-over-the-head christianity.)
Schindler's List (The holocaust was horrible. Yes Stephen, we know. Yawn.)Världsstad - Dom lokala genrenas vän

9) Any movie starring a supermodel ***
and...
10) The whole damned "Star Trek" franchise.
* except "Wayne's World" or "The Blues Brothers"
** except "Clueless"
*** except Kelly Lynch, who's turned out to be an excellent actress
edit: oh I see you made an exception for Wayne's world. That's more like it. Now we just need to fix your ideas about #10.

Sorry, but you're wrong, Diss. I totally agree with Chemical Ollie. I forgot how annoyed I was when I saw it.
"Pulp Fiction" was the most disappointing, overhyped movie of its day. I wanted to love it. Sounded like it was right up my alley. But beyond some shock value perhaps, it was all really just a "Travolta's back, and not afraid to be fat" hype. And while I'm a fan, frankly his wasn't even the best performance in the film.
Which wasn't even really a good noir.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011
