You amuse me Pekka. When America begins her final conquest of Europe, I'll try and get you a good position in the armed forces overseeing France.

I read it, and a few things were pointed out unseen before. At this point, it's two sides telling how the other is blatantly lying - so I don't know whose side to concretely take.

Michael's general rabid idiocy and inability to write without using "OH REALLY?!" taints such a future commitment, though.

If I wanted accurate information, I'd read a book.

As long as it's not one of Moore's books.

I don't agree with everything he says or does but I think America needs people like him to help arrest its gradual slide into fascism.

God, that is a beautiful troll. The way it seems reasonable until the very end where facism is thrown out is just remarkable. Learn from this one, kiddies.

actually I don't consider it a troll. America is heading towards facism.

I still hate Moore though. we need more reasonable, intelligent people to keep this country on track. Moore does not fit that bill.

Maybe it's just me, but I found most of the stuff in his new book intelligent, reasonable, and well-thought-out.

Michael Moore has a bad habit of cutting a speaker (let's say Heston) off midsentence, inserting a bit of narration, then 'resuming' the speech. Only, the speech is a different one. (You'll notice Heston's tie changes color a few times, all during the 'same' speech.)

Let's not go into his attempts to distort the passage of time.

He's done some good things - like getting transplants and other operations for people who were stiffed by their insurance company.

In one case he held a mock funeral for a guy at the HQ of the medical insurance company that had refused his transplant. The guy got his operation

Not narration; rather stills or outside clips while the auditory speech "flows" on to hide the fact that the sentences uttered in the film are actually cuts of several different ones pieced together to become as abrasive and hostile as possible. It's further charged that the general message(s) (are) even warped by clipping fragments from entirely different speeches in making of the mosaic.

Neither are excusable "editing" - and if you honestly believe otherwise, you've obviously picked your winner before the battle even began.

I watched "Bowling for Columbine" for the first time today, keeping an eye out for any changes in Heston's outfit, and after a little introduction to the NRA, Heston does his "cold dead hands" bit, and then Michael Moore says the NRA came to Littleton, and shows the speech Heston made and he is then of course wearing a different shirt. The way that you made it out it was like he was seamlessly cutting and pasting- but with your claims you have been every bit as intellectually dishonest here as Michael Moore was with regard to that speech.
