Well, I guess the problem with the studies are, that I think men drive more(?) and when they do, they usually drive faster and often brake the traffic rules. Yes, braking the traffic rules does not make men superior drivers, but if we are talking about pure handling skills of the vehicle, in the safe mode and in the speeding mode, I think men will have better results. THat's just me though.In da butt.

As far as I've read, studies find that women are involved in more accidents, BUT men are involved in more deadly accidents. This seems to make sense given their driving styles.

If you take the under 25s out of the mens column, I'm sure women would have many more accidents. That said, this isn't doing my sexist image any good so I think I'll go do the ironing and then some perhaps dusting.

Yes, Diss, men do their fair share also.
On the safety records and insurance premium, I think a lot of it is, (as pointed out) that men on the average drive considerably more miles. So even if they have a lower percentage of accidents per mile, they still have more accidents.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit.
