Gangerolf, I'm not sure why your "gay culture" only returned 19,800 hits, while my "gay culture" returned 29,600 hits ... you are using the same internet as me, right?
But you are right. I guess this is rather beside the point of this thread.

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
Well, I have no problem with gays being gays, but I have a problem with them building a community, so that its members feel separate from the rest of the population because of their gayness (it is a consistent opinion for me to be against communitarization).
Am I still gay friendly if I have no problem with the sexuality, but with the community being built around it ? (the idea of community, not the people)

People are going to relate to other people who have similar life experiences within the same group.
Just fundamental, basic human behavior of everyone.

wtf is heterosexist? ( for the last time )
IMO, I think there can be a distinction made between homophobia and heterosexism.
Homophobia is based on hatred of homosexuals.
Heterosexism is based on the belief that heterosexuality is superior to homosexuality.
I think it's possible for one to be heterosexist and not be homophobic, but you certainly cannot be homophobic without being heterosexist, as well.
Example -- you can have a friend who is gay, even if you're straight, but at the same time, you can still hold the attitude that heterosexuality is superior to homosexuality -- at the risk of alienating your gay friend, however.
But you really cannot be homophobic and be friends with someone who is gay.
Similar I guess, to a chauvinistic, sexist man married to a woman.

Yep, but the purposeful production of culture within said group, along as the purposeful separation from the rest of society is something I condemn, because it leads people to say "I'm gay" before "I'm French" or "I'm human".
Gays have done a terrific job in the past decades so that heteroes see them as "normal people". With their whole community-building, it seems they don't want to be seen as "normal people" anymore. It just makes the bed of the homophobe agenda
(btw, In more general matters, I'm very opposed to the muslim community-building in France, which intends to separate Muslims from the rest of the population. These cretins are really helping Le Pen )
