Ah yes, I'd blocked that from my memory because Glenn Close was in it.

          I'm seeing it on the 19th .

Apparently its not as good as his others, but come on, Tarantino.. its still in a league of its own.

Uma Thurman was so much hotter as a smouldering brunette in PF than the trailers here. I mean... blonde!?!?!?!

Plot sounds too weird but hey I need something to do next sunday.

            She's always been blonde.

I think the other way round. I'd take a sword wielding maiden over an anorexic, coke snorting, gangsta's wife any day.

I loved it. Decent, shallow piece of storytelling but a truly magnificent piece of art, using gloriously exotic visuals and sound in a way Tarantino has never done before. It's exquisitely timed, filmed, paced, set-decorated, lit, soundtracked, etc.; for me that's like 85% of a good movie.

I was going to see it today, but I was over my mom's house longer than I planned. Yeah I could see the night shows, but I'm cheap. I prefer to pay the matinee prices.

Though I did get 2 of her TV's working again. arty:

I'm not exactly sure how I got the second one working. I just took it apart, fiddled with it, and it started working again

                          9.5 out of 10

This is the best movie I have seen in a long time. The thing that really pushes it over the top are the little tidbits Tarantino adds in like the Samurai Showdown reference or the room full of bleeding people after the fighting stops. And don't forget that RZA did the music. WUTANG!

I went and saw it a second time last night with some friends and I still enjoyed it very much.

I thought it was GREAT !!!

The move is a brilliant blend of Pythonesque gore with some neat anime thrown in. The plot is kept simple with long, incredibly graphic (and funny) fight scenes.

The time flies by - there is some fun plot twists and an interesting cliff hanger at the end - and I can't wait for part 2 !

The dialogue is strictly comic book, but infinitely better then Unbreakable.

... and did I mention how gory it is ? I suspect many of our European posters won't be able to see it until it comes out in video.
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.
