I don't know if this is what SlowwHand is alluding to this past couple of weeks, but here goes . . .
I vaguely remember somewhere online where I read about President Bush declaring the second week of every October to be National Protection of Marriage or something like that or other.
Basically, if my vague memory of this is right (I wished I had actually read the article) -- then President Bush is planning to use this declaration to callously disregard the human dignity of all non-heterosexauls by declaring that week to be the annual week of reaffirming "traditional" family values -- as if non-heterosexuals cannot embrace family values.
Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this? I am hopiing I'm mistakened.
