I finally got power back tonight. I guess it was only 2 days, but having a dark house and no computer (ah!) wasn't much fun. Plus the fear of loosing everything in the fridge was troubling.

Lots of trees down by me, I had a bunch of clean up to do yesterday. But I got to use a chainsaw, so that was cool

It didn't even seem that bad, when we lost power Thursday night there wasn't much wind at all and just a steady but not hard rain. Things picked up a bit that night at like 11-12, but it didn't seem anything severe. Even with this seemingly mild weather it was the worst to hit the area (apparently) since the 1930's and blacked out 2 million people. Go figure.
