I seem to recall them doing this with K-Mart and 7-11 years ago, for much the same reason (removal and/or hiding of the magazine).

I've got a better one for you. The man in charge of shipping cadavers at from the University of Arizona medical lab is named Dr. Dommer. My dad was working on some carpal tunnel research for ASU and had to work with this guy. My mom got a call at home one day that went "Hello this is Dr. Dommer and I'm calling about cadavers."
