They have now, Apparently compared to Carlshem East I managed to move the result an entire percent on my own.

    Weirdest result by far:

well our policy is based on the fact that if a vote was held tomorrow, the yes camp wouldn't stand a chance. so blair will wait until it looks like he just might have a hope of winning it and then we'll finally get a chance to vote. ain't our democracy great
It's based on a lot more than that..

Oh well, I guess I'd better put out the fire from my burning Swedish banknotes which I thought would become obsolete now...

Only two counties had a yes majority. Skåne (where I live) and Stockholm.

I thought the end result would be a lot more close than this. Weird.

I'm on the 'winning' side. Never happened before, feels stange.

no, not really. the decision is a political, not an economic one.

For a while I was hoping it'd only be Stockholm, would have fuelled my plans for secession from all the country yokels.

The politics and economics are linked. The politics aren't right at the moment and neither are the economics. That the government is signalling its intent to take the economic issues seriously by delaying a referendum now, they add credibility to when the time comes that the economic conditions are more favourable to joining.

When the economics are right, it will become a lot easier to persuade people to vote yes.

I see intellectual snobbery from some middle-class city dwellers is alive and kicking in Sweden!

Works both ways, a lot of people on the other side would probably be very glad to get rid of Stockholm City.

PA, well i think if blair seriously thought he could win a vote on the euro he would hold one tomorrow regardless of the economics.

At least with this result you're spared the rioting.
