Nah, this is the sorry swedish centre that used to be the left and now spends it time selfishly squabbling over national economics and personal petty cash.

We can at least hope that the government overrules the outcome as they did with the right hand traffic...

        But I guess they won't.

Our great and stable currency, the Krona, just sunk like a rock on the currency market.

Btw, I voted Yes, if you didn't figure that out

I guess this referendum just confirmed that Swedes are stubborn Nej-sayers...

well our policy is based on the fact that if a vote was held tomorrow, the yes camp wouldn't stand a chance. so blair will wait until it looks like he just might have a hope of winning it and then we'll finally get a chance to vote. ain't our democracy great :/

The results can be explained easily: Swedes came for holiday in Greece, saw everything having a 100% raise after the euro and said: "We won't be as dumb as the Greeks".

                  And they were right.

The idea that britain would consider voting yes is ludicrous

besides, the Tories will be in before then and (hopefully) hold the refarendum cos the are sure of getting a 'no'.

Anyway, by the time britain is ready to go in, the EUro will prolly have fallen appart and people re pulling out of it

Well, they haven't published the numbers from Carlshem yet. Bucks efforts might still turn the tide.

I think that the result will delay a possible adopting of the Euro for some years. When the question is taken up again the government might decide to join without having another referendum, or hold another.

THe thing is that overriding the result probably would be bad for the ruling parties.

But I still hope they will do so, but I doubt they will. The no-result means that therewill take some years before the question gets up again.

If Sweden get's into a new lbad economical time it's possible that the opinion will change, but most of the No-voters thinks that the current system is working good, and don't want tot try something new.

Howver, I suspect that the Euro will be used more and more unofficially parallell with the Krona with the no outcome.
