I'd like that in a written form, PLATO.
If it was up to me, you would already have it

Should I study Neuere & Neueste Geschichte (HF) with Politikwissenschaft (NF) and Philosophy (NF) at the Humboldt one and live in P'Berg or Politikwissenschaft (HF) and Geschichte (2. HF) at Potsdam and live in central Potsdam? P'Berg is slightly more expensive, but the WG there is better (nice people) than in Potsdam (one guy, very camp).
Congratulations and approval with implication of support all rolled into one

The Humboldt uni has the best reputation (some Profs are even advisors of the government) but is OVERCROWDED as hell. I didn´t believe it before I saw it, but esp. in politics you sit with hordes of other students in some courses - that can really be annoying. In history it is similar but not that serious since there are more courses to choose.
Don´t know the uni in Potsdam, but from hat I´ve heard it is not that overcrowded.
Uni Potsdam - 8000 Students in 1998, 16000 Students in 2003 or something like that
Maybe as a Humboldt person it'd be easier to find good Praktika in government offices / ministries and thus jobs later on with a politics and history degree than do all that in Potsdam.
I mean who wants to do Praktika or an assistant job in a Landesregierung?

Anyway, kudos to the EU foreign ministers on agreeing to blacklist Hamas in it's entirety.
Shame on France for sitting on their pompous backsides until now. "If we find that Hamas and Islamic Jihad are indeed terror groups opposed to peace, we may have to change the EU's stand. However, we must not limit ourselves to one, clear-cut, position." indeed.

CNN is saying that Arafat has accepted Abbas' resignation.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"
