Why don't you change your region to Japan, then...

Change my region? It's a laptop, not a DVD player.

Drake is from Nebraska. 'nuff said.

You can't choose where you were born. You can choose not to move to Canada, however.

You can get rid of it by using a different browser.

The reason why your files haven't been deleted is because the OS still thinks you live in the USA. I am sorry if you find the Mac interface too obtuse to figure out how to change your regional settings, but I suggest you take it up with Steve Jobs at your next slumber party.

You can also choose not to move to Japan, which is crowded, in the economic ****ter, and polluted to all hell.

Programs should not care where you live.
Using a list of countries to set the language text is in is moronic.

Unfortunately geeslaka, we live in a world with things called "laws", and most of these laws are applicable only in certain countries.

So, if a program thinks you live in country A, it will have certain features, but if it thinks you live in country B, those features are disabled?

No it doesn't. It plainly marks my location as "Japan" everytime I use the Software Update application.

I have changed my regional settings. There's no need to get pissy just because you were completely wrong and made a huge deal out of nothing. Why don't you just admit your mistake and move on instead of engaging in childish name-calling?

                            No it hasn't.

I run XP with openoffice.org 1.1 rc3 and mozilla 1.4. I have absolutely no complaints about OOo, sure its a little slow, same as mozilla to load but when its loaded its great! I've encountered no bugs, indeed there was some survey a few days ago saying that OOo had less than MS Office. Mozilla, like I said, loads slowly, but when loaded its damn near perfect. Besides, two seconds and a patient man.

Nonetheless, by 1.6, when it uses firebird, that will rock!
