And wasn't it last year when an iTunes installer toasted every partition on your harddrive, if it was partitioned? That, there, is quality software.

I know it has the insert indicator, but I type quickly and often have to transcribe from a book, so by the time I notice, I've usually typed over two or three sentences. That's just irritating.

Use OpenOffice. It has no problem to read and write Word and Excel formats, is way less vulnerable and it's free.

OpenOffice is a POS. It runs like a snail on my PC.

I've been in Japan for a month and my iTunes purchases still work fine. The lady lost her files because she was an idiot, as should be made obvious by her voluntary move to Canada.

What thing that says you have a cookie? I never see one of those. You should probably look under tools - internet option - advanced

Either way you look at it, they're always fun to bug. Most of them tend to be lowly network technicians or something else that has the same stature as a gas jockey in the computer world.
