It was definetly good fun . I wouldn't mind at all hanging with Victor, Stray, Q and JohnT again . Of course that means Stray and John have to make a long trip... maybe I'll take a road trip .

Yeah, next time we need to be a little geekier. Hey, we should play a game of Risk!

K-town is 3½-4 hrs from ATL compared to 2½-3 from Disgusta. My trip back was a little under 2½ because of the empty highways after the holiday exodus. I also saw a brilliant double rainbow and tried to take a picture of it.
I couldn't find my disposible camera because I didn't look in my briefcase. I distinctly remembered putting it in the glovebox. It would make too much sense to put it in my briefcase, where I found it when looking for my chapstick before I left the parking lot.

So, anyway, I found myself driving straight towards the base of the awesome rainbow so I picked up the camera and snapped a shot through the windshield. We'll see if it was even pointed in the right direction.

Those pictures look like they were taken in 1985.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

          At the Varsity? Sweet .

But if we do that, we should get costumes and military regalia and the sort .

Depends upon how you drive it.

Laura made it from Knoxville to I75/85 in 2:45 on the way down and I did it in 3:15 on the way up. But when I drove, we had more bathroom stops... Laura seems to plan it that way so that she can say she was quicker.

              ...compared to 2½-3 from Disgusta.

Again, depends upon how you drive it.

Well, I usually drive about 2-4 mph above the speed limit. Faster than that is usually more stressful. With 70 mph speed limits in most areas, yeah, it is quicker than memories from the old 55-65 days.

I know the East TN drivers are loonies; maybe that has rubbed off on ya.

Straybow -- for some reason, your avatar reminds me of an old game -- maybe from SNES??

To make it even geekier, play Lord of the Rings Risk. It's a lot of fun. Theben got it for me for Xmas. Even Bunnygrrl likes playing it.

The one thing that I hate wasting more than anything is time. Therefore I usually drive about 10% above the posted speed limit, as long as the limit is +40mph.

And, no, I'd think we'd find a better place to play Risk than The Varsity with all the din and the tiny tables. I bet we could find a Borders or something.

Bah... I'm more of a history geek than a LOTR geek anyday .

Yeah, the tiny tables could mess up the Risk fun .
