I don't know why people have to insult those who wish to remember the people who have died on 9/11.

When Ming and I joke around about banning people, it usually gets people's attention.

As far as the thread deteriorating, it is an emotional issue for some, and the transcripts have a mix of historical, investigative, personal and propaganda value.

People have a tendency to remember Good Things, and let the mind block bad memories.
Sometimes that's ok.
I just don't think this event should be far from anyone's mind; because it impacts, and will impact, the World on a daily basis.

Yes. And that article WAS celebrating the lives of those who were lost - it was showing the courage they showed. The media is not forcing all of this stuff in our faces at all. In fact, the media has, so far, been remarkabl restrained. Get off of it.

I have muliple thoughs, concerns, as some of the emotions are dredged up again from that awful, terrible day. Even now I can feel the tears coming.

I don't want to hear the transcripts read to me (as happened this morning on NPR while I was still asleep. I don't want to read the words. The wound is still too fresh, too deep. I haven't healed yet.

I wonder how the PA call center workers got on with their lives, having talked to so many people who were about to die, and there was nothing they could do to help. Did they get counseling?
