Pledge of Allegiance

and being forced to say the pledge is nice for brainwashing purposes, but as long as Im in school I will never say it when forced. If a teacher told me to say it or get a note from my mommy I would tell them to **** off, I say the pledge because I want to not because Im forced to.

When I was in elementry school we said the pledge but middle school and high school is a bit late in the game to still be doing that dog and pony show.

When I was in elementary school in Texas, we had prayer and the pledge of allegiance in every damn class. We all loved it - with a little work and practice, we could kill almost 5 minutes of classtime from every class without having to do schoolwork.

Well, there is nothing wrong with minutes of silence. Every day we have one for Europe, one for France, one for the Region, one for the Departement, and one for the Commune.

In my primary school we all got to stand out in the yard and salute the national flag and sing the anthem..nice tune, but the words are a bit grandiose. Sadly, this happened outside of class, so you couldn't waste class time.

Couldn't use that one. In first and second grades, they kept us in the room, and moved the teachers around.

Besides, shooting straight is vastly overrated: we don;t mind taking out a big chunk of the area either with massive and overwhelming firepower: it worked once before.

Yeah, us too in the early years of school at secondary school we had to wander round loads though and there was 0 time allocated for transfering between classes, even though some were a good few minutes walk away.
