          The most useful key idea:

Having an undo in an easy-to-reach key would be great.

No, I like it as ctrl-z. I already know it and it's harder to hit by accident.

On a side note, does somebody know what the sign ¤ is used for?

The context menu key is the weird one between the spacebar and the right windows key. It doesn't have a text label.

I vote scroll-lock. Insert alone is useless, but it forms (with shift) the old-school DOS way of pasting.

                    I learned
                    Ctrl-C: copy
                    Shift-Del: cut
                    Shift-Ins: paste

                    And they still work!
                    I refute it thus!

Oh, the button with the cursor and the dropdown list? On mine that's between the right windows key and ctrl.

Scroll Lock is useless - I don't even know what it could be used for.
Pause/Break used to have a use in good old DOS days, but games have their own pause buttons now
Insert I find useful when typing sometimes.
I only press the right windows key and the context menu key by accident - I haven't actually used them in a productive manner ever.

All the other keys are useful.
Althought the F~ series of keys don't get much to do.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Scroll Lock is actually useful on BSD UNIX machines.

If you are on the terminal, you can use scroll lock to go up and see all the stuff that disappears off of the monitor.

I use alt all the time... because it's a totally different button! Your keyboard might not have the context menu key. On mine it's in between the right windows button and the right Ctrl button. So no... I don't mean alt
