Well my 15 year old VCR has started eating tapes. Looks real nice on the outside and otherwise functions fine. Figure it is time to buy a new one. What should I get? Oh...unless you know how to make it stop eating tapes.

Unless you plan on spending $300 or more, I would suggest getting something that is the same brand as your TV. That way, you don't have to worry about remotes. Most mainstream brands are the same around the $100-$250 range. Such compatability generally gives you better performance. It sounds like you take good care of your ****.To us, it is the BEAST.
