  • Atheists (not a 'does god exist' thread BTW)

If you were to convert to a particular religion/denomination (presumably purely on their philosophy since you don't believe in god) what would you opt for?

Put another way: As an athiest which religious philosophy (minus the ritualistic/spiritual baggage) appeals to you most?

    Neoplatonism.

Probably Buddhism. 'Cept I like material things. I'd have to say ultraliberal Episcopalianism. If losing the "ritualistic/spiritual baggage" entails not attending church services, then life would go practically unchanged!

The one that believes in 'karma', I don't believe in it per se, but I like to think in general terms 'What comes around, goes around'

                            Very sick polythiesim.

The Native American religions are good too, they emphasize being one with nature, and I am an enviromentalist tree hugger.

Sava, I was expecting you to say Serbian Orthodox.

That would require me to believe in God.
