    *gasp*

i wish i oculd laugh at this, i want to laugh (especially at the "pokemon proves evolution cant happen" ), but its just too shocking... The unintentional, self-perpetuating brian washing that must go on in these conservative chrisitian families to make them rationalize what they did as 'science' and 'truth' is shocking.

I will die a happy man when religion of this corruptive magnitude is annhilated. its only harmful to the progress of society

If that's science than I guess I'm not a scientist!

I am kind of mad at this level of stupidity... Yeah, I would like my kid to learn how to become a womanizer, at least he will know that it is sciences fault that women get paid less, and that rocks are rocks and not a living organism...

      more mad than

The thing that definitely pushes me to thinking parody site is the 'Ruby Matrimony Thong'.

                  OMG!!!

Thank you, that made my day.

As for whether it's real or not... eh, I can't tell. They do have a link advocating the shutdown of the Landover Baptist site which is known to be fake.

Ok, I've been reading thru it more and I think it's fake -
                  * J.C. Penny - The J.C. makes us think of Jesus Christ, thus associating our Lord with the lowest monetary value, the penny (even Judas valued Him at 30 pieces of silver!).
                  * Sears - What the flesh of the damned does in Hell. It also sounds like "seers", Pagan mystics who engaged in occult premonitions.
                  * Cinnabon - Sounds like "Sin Upon".
                  * Orange Julius - Named for the Pagan Emperor of Rome. This company's mascot was once a devil, until they changed it to hide their true intentions.
                  * Hot Topic - A recent store aimed at children that openly sells devil paraphernalia. Any guess as to why "hot" is in their name?
                  * Hallmark Gold Crown Stores - Purveyors of Santamas tree ornaments depicting anthropomorphized woodland creatures (reference to Evolutionism) and Harry Potter merchandise. What notable person will have a mark and wear crowns? [Rev. 13:16, 13:1]

If I ever start a store I am going to call it "Fvck Jesvs" just to piss this guy off.

What about Target? - they support terrorists, and Tiger Woods!

or the Gap? - see as this guy is the missing link I am sure he would be mad at a store that rubs his origions in his face!

The site is obviously a parody. It does not represent mainstream christianity nor creationists!
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

It obviously doesn't represent the vast majority of Christians, but parody or no it's pretty close to what I've heard from the Creationists I've met.

Google is apparently a good Christian bussiness.

It seems this is a parody, thank god.

But then again, it's a very good one, because it's not far from the truth.
