Journalists were often hurt when they were taking cover, or in crowds, when it was not obvious they were journalists.

Israel's position is that since neither jordan or egypt or any other nation for that matter had legal sovereignty over gaza or the west bank , therefore these areas are not to be considered " occupied territories " or OT as you call them , .....
under international law when Israel took control of them in 67 , in a clear act of self defense ( nota bene ) we took it upon ourselfs to apply and implement humanitarian provisions cited in the international law of occupation to the territories under our control , ......

This indeed shows the great hostility of the soldiers towards the journalists. But this is hardly a secret.


Some things:
The Cameramen did not shout "We're cameramen!" in that video. maybe they did in arabic, but I don't think that the soldiers could've understand this.
