James Miller was shot in the neck by an Israel soldier, while he was approaching a tank, waving a white flag.
I saw the movie of the event someone was recording. The Israeli vehicles were far away, so it's not like he was 5 meters from a tank and he got shot. There was a lot of space and distance for misunderstandings, and it was dark.

Actually this begs the question why it would be saver by the soldiers... More than 1 answer is possibelIf **** hits the fan, DON'T stand among the palestinians. It's much safer on the soldier side, and the best would be not to be on either side, if possible.

Azazel: I think it's either something to do with the fact that alot of the freedom fighters are notorious gaylords. Or that the police/IDF enjoy 'perks' with prisoners. Neither is strictly true of course
Although when I was arrested in Genoa, 2001, the Italian police were pretty nasty. They made me -as well as another 10 protestors- strip naked and chucked us in a holding cell. ****s
