Kidicious, so who should pay? All whites, or just those with slave owning ancestors? You run into major problems either way.

Wasn't the South being razed to the ground and hundreds of thousands of people dead enough?
BTW, I have numerous Irish ancestors, can I get some of those English bastards to pay me reparations for the centuries of destruction and famine they caused. Then again I have English ancestors to, does that mean that I should pay reparations to myself.Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

If you just had a more socialist economic policy the problem would solve itself.Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth

The solution to the so called "black plight" in this country is to actually offer an equal opportunity. This can only come from the implementation of two things:
1.) Truly equal educational opportunity, i.e. all school districts being equally funded. This is definately not the case today.
2.) The absence of using race as a determining factor in social decisions. The talk of reperations is one thing that needs to go. This kind of thing tends to seperate blacks and whites into two distinct groups. This goes against the theory of "all men are created equal" (which of course applies to women as well!). Affirmitave action, while it is an idea that is grounded in trying to do the right thing, is equally as bad. Once real equality is obtained in educational opportunity and sociatal policy, then the need for both reparations and affirmitive action will dissapear."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

Which African americans would ger the money. Colin Powell. He's obviously been disadvantaged. If he was white he could be Supreme leader of the universeSpace is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

I'm not sure what it is though."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. Kid, funding education equally is but part of the solution. Taking that in concert with step two and now you are making progress. Until the idea of one race versus another race is eradicated from our society, we will continue to have problems.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Actually, we should just send all the sponges who want a handout to Africa or someplace, regardless of their "color" "race" or whatever other excuses they claim.
Then let them sponge off each other, and "build communities"(another excuse for one set of sponges to get more of the money and tell the other set of sponges what to do and how. Trouble is, most everyone wants to get in the first set of sponges, so they have to set up some exclusivity to justify their sponge-eliteness.)
When all else fails, blame brown people. | Hire a teen, while they still know it all. | Trump-Palin 2016. "You're fired." "I quit."

y. The problem is that if blacks are treated equally by individuals in society they only way to make sure that they are treated equally is do give them advantages.
That is, unless we can do things very differently than they are already done."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic.
