The point is that racists are Republicans. Some Republicans may not be racist, but they choose to vote for politicians who are rascist. They don't care about racism as much as other issues. To me these 'moderates' are borderline.

There are racists everywhere Kid... even on the Dems. In Chicago, there are a large amount of Daley supporters that I would consider to be racists. They aren't as overboard as people like Lott, Thurmond, and Helms... but they exist. To single out the Republican party is wrong. There are a great majority of Republicans who aren't racists. You are focusing on a few and making a sweeping generalization. While I share the notion that the Republican party is generally evil, it's not fair to call ALL of them racists.

WTF? Actually, what I said was that at night in a rough neighborhood, if a group of blacks come towards me I'm likely to cross the street, but then again this is likely no matter what race it is. This is personal safety, and I don't give a **** if it hurts feelings.

Actually, I said I'm not at all attracted to them. They might be very pretty, I'm just not usually into them.

I have to disagree with you. MOST Republicans are racist. Remember that there are two types of racists. You have the Nazi type of racist that is very vocal, and then you have the type that says that they aren't racist, but elects politicians who support racist policies. Keep in mind that they claim that those policies aren't racist, but in fact they are.

I'm reflecting the attitudes of the mainstream African American population. My best friend's dad... who's black BTW, screams "Uncle Tom Motherf***er!" every time he sees Powell or Condie on TV.

I thought Sava, you're the one who always said i shouldn't use a few individuals to describe the attitudes of a whole group of people... you used just one...

and i know literally dozens of black people who do like Colin Powell and Rice and Thomas and whoever else... they just think they're democrats or they respect them even if they dont agree with them (and many do agree with them still). so over 30 individuals' viewpoints is a better sample of 'black attitudes' than your oreo friend's father.
