ROTFLMAO

Well, go ahead and laugh, but I still hold that, regardless of what you make of Albert's past, or his sense of morality, there are undoubtedly good things that can be learned from what he posts here. There are no coincidences, and undoubtedly, Albert's reason for being here with us is so that we could learn a thing or two from him (and conversely, he from us). You might laugh at such an idea, but I'm sure that his various experiences can provide valuable knowledge, in one way or another, for all of us.
Hey Speer: I live in an urban neighboorhood too: And all I can tell you is that your experiences are very short of either universal or in some way trancendent, allowing you to see with some greater moral clarity, OK?

i got a feeling yall don't know about how people motion for drugs... what with a crackdown on "open-air drug trafficking", there's more and more people motioning just about everybody for some drugs with the little smoking motion.
Was "sobriety" responsible for that statement? Hey Al, the reason we see open air drug markets is because drugs are illegal. We don't see Miller and Bud opening up shop in city parks...
but this people seriously need to stop... on the bus about 45 minutes ago, one boy did that to me and i shook my head no then about a minute later, this older man and his kid came by and this boy instead of motioning was staight up, "Old head, you got some weed?"
Huh?
little kid, about four years old, playing with a balloon apparently from some party had to hear this fool ask his pop for drugs...
Did the 4 year old know what the question meant?
and you people here love your drugs...
Can a person love freedom and not use drugs? Al, do you understand the inherent immorality in reaching conclusions about millions of people based on what you saw on a bus?
thats the ****ed up thing with people here on apolyton... in their mansions and on their high thrones, they can say anything is allowed and fine but if they lived somewhere normal, they'd see **** differently
I love this.
now lets take a minute. Im a rich white kid living in a huge ass mansion on the face of a mountain and I drink wine all day long. My parent pay for everything, and Im worthless. Thats what Ive understood from what youve "experienced"
now...
Ive been held up a few times. Ive been offered drugs, and Ive been asked if I have any. Ive had to run away from gangs of little asian kids in California, and avert my eyes from people dealing drugs.
I can tell you that every drug dealer and gang member is a minority. That the only people who get arrested are black, and that white people are the smartest people in the world, next to asians with 1 inch you know whats. But they are backwards too, they kill thier own kind! And you know how I know that to be fact, Ive experienced it.
I'm not here to give you sh*t as everyone else, although I can't quite identify with your particular situation. You see, here in relatively rich cowtown we have the polar opposite; where EVERYONE and their freaking dog grows and/or sells weed. If you're younger and dressed casual walking downtown... you'll be approached and offered a SWEET TRANSACTION of dried plant in ziploc worth relatively the same per weight as catnip.
I mean it's not like I would EVER buy or sell drugs with others in this city, but if I did it sure wouldn't be dirty street peddling to strangers! Yeah, I imagine I'd be more like a (relatively) respectful addict and depend on undertone, quiet and EASY social networking - what a concept!
Either way, even in this city of 1,000,000 we're surviving in scale of a drug problem. Weed is by far the biggest source of (illicit) drug addiction problems in town, followed most probably by crack cocaine. Powdered cocaine is systematically put through fake droughts to promote crack, and all of the other hardcore substances (heroin, methamphetamine) are drawn to the three near comparable hubs west, north and east of us. FUN TIME
everywhere you go you can find someone that will either sell to you or buy from you. It is not a unique characteristic of any place on earth. And yes you will run into the random person who asks straightfoward "hey you got any weed?". Hell! If you know the cops around your town they can hook you up with the best/cheapest stuff.
I really fail to see what the point of trying to stop drug trafficing is, other than a way to waste millions of dollars.
I honestly don't see what the big problem with AS' complaint is, here. So he's pissed about the sloppy open air market - giving an example of some f*cking ****** asking SEVERAL strangers for weed as if he's craving his next week of meals. This causes an exceptionally irritating and akward situation for those who may be watching, but obviously not for like potheads who might luck out with a feed.
Even with something like tobacco... you simply don't go bouncing back and forth begging strangers for a cigarette in a sober area - only an atmosphere where it's a full blown part of the activity (if even). If you're in a bar, obviously - you can get away with it... If you're on the street, where others walking by are smoking, it's a little more embarassing. Yet if you're on a bus, just shut the f*ck up and let people stew in momentary pause from their errands - or risk the inevitable mockery that several witnesses will trade with one another (often subtle, but it's there)
Listen, to whatever extreme we argue - I'm still going to treat some junkie who approaches me on the street asking for a spoon with absolute disdain (it has happened), just as I'll snicker at some 14 year old trying to score a joint with his Mother's money while riding public transit. It's a social contract of punishing behaviors you look down upon, just as others do to you in countless examples. If you want to live in an absolute open air where these sort of encounters roll off of everyone with a neutral answer and grin at disposal - YOU'RE the one pushing morality

Quality of life. Sorry, I don't want my environment turned into an Arabian bazzar of meth handling and stoner haggling. Bullsh*t like that leads to open use, which leads to open abuse - and it gets a lot f*cking uglier than some kid spitting on the sidewalk inbetween drags or a drunk puking in a garbage can, for the substances that you don't even know exist.
