I think people need to chill... stop the presonal insults... and just relax. This thread isn't going to last much longer at this rate.. and neither are some of the posters.
So in 20 years the ship wil forget where it is, and the USS Nacy Reagan will have to go fetch it? That won;t be good.
We should not have started to name ships after non-dead people. I think it is in poor taste. Ships should be named after places, values, or dead leaders who have had time for thier records and their time in our pantheon to set. Only empires or monarchies name things after the living.

GePap is very right. you don't name stuff after people that are alive. very imperial and in bad taste. In Israel there is only one such case ( a Stadium after the former mayor ), and even that made me raise an eyebrow.
