Interesting proposal in terms whether it would pass. The problem with it would be in terms of lobbying power the opponets of such a bill would be at a strong advantage, large business would certainly outweigh any lobbying done by the other side, and the $ of large business hold great sway on Capital Hill. On the other hand, such a law mandating vacation time would likely be widely popular with the voting public, and politicians opposing this could take an approval hit. Still though I think in a Republican controlled congress it would stand a good chance of getting killed in comitee where it would have less profile. The Democrats just might be able to make a campaign issue out of this, but I doubt they would have the balls."I'm moving to the Left" - Lancer
