You want to live in a gerbil maze?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Who wouldn't? I could have a party and nobody would be able to find anything I don't want them to.

        Dream house?

For a house to become a dream house, only a few things needs to be in order:

        - It should have lots of private space outside (So neighbours don't "peek in" all the time )
        - The house should be placed somewhere, where it's nice hot outside, all year
        - It should have fast Internet Connection (for surfing 'Poly of course )

I guess that's about it... I don't want to live in some fanzy or large house... that's just not me... Maybe it should be some condo (?) in some skyscraber, near the top, with a private terrace (?)
This space is empty... or is it?

Nice houses! I especially like Stefus 'crib'. I wonder if I can come and play with those tanks too.

Anyway my dream house is at the beach. But the spot is chosen so, that my house is kind of symbol of duality. On the other side, there's the beach and the sea, and I can have a breath of fresh beach air, but when I go to the other side of the house, facing the beautiful garden of mine, there's no sign of that sea. There I'll be having my beautiful long swimming pool. Actually you can swim it only partially, as some of it just decoration with cool old greek statues and little waterfalls. That will be the center of my garden, and it dominates the scene. It'll be me and my familys personal place of classic beauty and peace. My son will have his first sexual experience there with a girl.

The pool is so massive, it's 30 meters long with the statues and waterfalls part. Then it changes into big pool that you can swim in, and has a big waterfall that you can turn on from switch, but it looks completely natural. Then at night time, there are these beautiful lights all over the place, creating special atmosphere and you can change the lights to different colours if you wish.
There is no waterslide however, even when my kids so much ask for it.. I just tell them to go fight in the sea and get out of my pool .

One corner of the pool is modified, it has under water seats (well poles you can sit on comfortably), and a bar desk, and on the other side of the desk there is the 'little bar'. So it's a little bar in the pool! But it doesn't dominate the pool. You have two choices.. you can fill the other side of the bar desk with water too, so the one serving drinks can be like in the pool too, but it is preferred to keep dry, so its dry by default. It's really cool corner, and one of my favourite hang outs with my buddies. It's full of booze and different kind of glasses and straws, so we can make lots of exotic drinks. You can drink beer too, but we prefer exotic drinks at this spot. Kids can drink soda or juice. If they want water, I always tell them to go drink from the sea and get out of my pool. So this is the back yard, or front yard. Oh, and then there is the DJ booth cleverly hidden next to the pool, it doesn't really show, but when we want to have a great pool party, we unreveal the booth and let people spin.

The other side is the beach. So the house is 3 stores, well 2 + a cellar. On the beachside of the house there's a massive balcony where I like to eat my breakfast. It's very nice in the morning, because sun rises from the sea, and I can just close my eyes and eat excellent breakfast there and smell the sea. I sometimes spend my time here naked. It is quite big, about 13 meters long and 18 meters wide. This is were I like to read too sometimes and calm my precious nerves. I have another big balcony on the garden side of my house.. so I can always be on balcony where the sun is. And actually the beach side balcony is on the corner of the house, so I can watch the sun setting there too, and have a bigger view.

The inside of the house is giving the spaceious feeling, the living room has the roof very high up and it's very big. It's for social things mostly, and I don't spend too much time here because it's so big that I can't feel 'in touch' with the house there.

I have a big kitchen too, American style. It's good because my wife likes it, and it's easy to clean. But I help her all the time at the kitchen, because I like to make food too. I sneak out when it's time to clean though, I'm such a bastard.

In the cellar, I have a big isolated game room (isolated from the other parts of the cellar, which is mainly used for storaging things, and washing machine) and it has many old arcade games, like pac man and Afterburner.
It has a pool table, and this is the favourite room of the kids. They manage to keep it in order even when they invite their buddies here a lot. It's also sound proof, so you can yell and really have a blast here without disturbing others. On the other side of the game room, there's kind of lounge room feeling with sofas and nice stuff that helps you relax. On the corner, next to the sofas there's a little bar like in the pool too. Here is where the kids and their buddies try to sneak in and drink alcohol, but I always catch them and whip their butts. This is where my daughter gets her first kiss at the age of 17. No tongues involved.

Back to upstairs (1st floor). Here I have a big gun room. I don't have that much old expensive guns that have worked 100 years ago, but more modern stuff. It's very impressive, and they're stored inside the wall, but once I push one button, the walls starts turning and I have a big and beautiful display of one of the most impressive gun collections of modern days that makes me cry. These are my babies. There's a small door that you can enter and it gets you outside the house, to the other side of the house (not back or front yards). Here is where I have my private shooting and killing range. Here is where I like to shoot very much and destroy things and keep my reflects sharp. I have a shelve, just to keep my different sunglasses (mostly aviators) that I like to wear while shooting and attacking. This is where I bring my daughters boyfriend candidates, show them the firepower I have at the house and ask if their intentions with my daughter are honourable. This is where I play with my high explosives as well.

On the other side of the house (inside) I have my gym. Lots of weights and a small boxing ring AND octagon, where I bring the boyfriend candidate if his intentions disappointed me. Here I have gloves, pads and other equipment for sissies to wear. I also have my collection of real size 85kg dolls that I sometimes come to beat and throw. They're stab, shoot, bite, kick, punch and choke proof, so I don't have to buy a new doll every week. This room does NOT have air conditioning, and it is also sound proof, it has a small door, just like my gun room, that I can go out and continue my way on running the beautiful beach. It also has a shower, that is an actual phone booth and it has only super cold water. I like to keep myself sharp.

Then I have my computer room, where I can come and post here on Apolyton and post pics of my good life. It has super fast connection. Here is where I bring my friends and we have long lasting marathon lan parties.
This room is definitely AC'd, and it doesn't have windows. But it's definitely a cool room with many computers. This room also serves as my work room if I have something I need to do.

I have 3 bathrooms, one for me and my wife mainly to use next to our bedroom, and one for the kids in upstairs (2nd floor) mainly to use. Then I have one next to the gun room, because I sometimes get so excited I need to pee.

Then there is to guest room, but it's quit modest so they don't feel intimitated. It's cozy and has one big bed, and one smaller bed. This is close to our bedroom, but not too close. So they can use the bathroom too.
In me and the wifes bathroom there's a HUGE jacuuzi(?) and this is the place we have many romantic moments and I keep begging for that 3rd wheel. She usually changes the subject.

Garage is made for two cars, and my tools. I have all the most massive tools here, blackndeckers etc.. If I need to fix something, I come here and work it out.

Hmm.. this is about it, maybe I missed something but I'll add if I remember what else I wanted.

DAMN! I forgot my theatre room. There I'll have a HUUUGGGGGGGGGE tv and all the latest stuff. I like to compete with my neigbour with this room, because he imitates me and tries to have better equipment.. but I always win. It has cozy seats, and this room has lots of snacks all the time. I have all the movies, so and the special thing is, this is the great sports room too. We watch football and sports here all the time with group of buddies, drinking beer and cheering and shouting. Very cool room with cool stuff.

My dream house is one my uncle had built in the 70s. It is a really strange place done in a style called "Mediaeval Disney". I don't have any pics of it but it is typical seventies style with large round windows and it has two spires and a sort of turret/study at the top.

A house the size and sophistication of Bill Gates's house, except that it is always having things added to it. I like new things.

My dream house is located on a sub-tropical island, on a gentle slope that's sloping east to an excellent beach. The house itself faces south, where there locates a large traditional Chinese style garden, complete with small natural creeks, lotus ponds, and small stone bridges. The house itself is of hyper-modern architecture, with the latest technology to conserve energy. On the windward side of the island, a small wind turbine farm will be established, providing sufficient energy to the entire compound.

The main entrance is due east, where the ground is roughly leveled and trees planted. A pebble road surrounds 3 sides of the house, with a paved road gently winds down to the beach. This is to provide transportation for persons with movement difficulties to and from the beach with electric cars.

The south and east sides of the house are double layered window curtains that let in the light while efficiently insulates the house. The southeast corner is gently rounded, with both sides sloping backwards and up. This allows a fantastic view over the ocean and the garden from all three levels of the house.

Inside the house, natural lighting and HVAC will be used as much as possible. A large lift provides access to persons with movement difficulties. The top floor is one large room. It is a master's bedroom, study, and leisure room all rolled into one with a small pantry/kitchen located off to one side.

The floor below are more bedrooms, a game room, the family room, a couple of multi-purpose rooms and bathrooms. On the ground floor, an entrance lobby with an atrium, living room, kitchen, bathrooms, a children's play room, a snooker room, and a couple of rooms that can be used for conferences.

The whole house is wired by high speed cables, and there is a satellite ATM link to connect to the world. Nearby is a football (not handmelon ) field, with squash courts, a gym, and an indoor swimming pool located in the basement. There's also a large sparring room where my SO and I practice with each other . The walls and floor are well padded to prevent accidental injuries.

Off to one side of the basement you can find the hardware room. All sorts of electronic parts, instruments, and old computers can be found here. At the corner is a small air conditioned server room. [Don't ask me why do I need these servers ]

my friend and I were actually debating over how to waste money on a house if ur rich. and I proposed building a house built soley out of cardboard box.

Think about it. You get the priviledge to say when ur rich friends are talking about their expensive estates: "Yeah I live in a ****ing cardboard box"
