So what if Apple were economical with the truth? All manufacturers do this.
Go look at Intel.com, compare the two.
Intel doesn't even compare their processors to anyone else's, even though it's widely accepted that they're the fastest.
Apple goes out of its way to make grand claims and exaggerations and blatant lies to try to sell products. That works on some people, but not on me.
I would be soooo much happier if instead of marketing bull**** specs and hype, that they focus on quality and user experience and style. Then they'd probably gain marketshare -- that's their bread and butter. This "supercomputer" crap is just embarrassing for them, they can do so much better. The G5 is certainly a capable chip, too.
