              I agree that it is a sad commentary of the society that adults read these books.


              You mean like adults that read 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn' or 'Chronicles of Narnia'. Oh wait, it is only a sad commentary when YOU don't like the children's book .

              Of course Harry ******* is about class - it's basically Billy Bunter with magic or any of the other school stories from the Bunter era. Of course there are poor people around to carry things and take orders, but that's about it.


              Obviously we have one passing judgments who hasn't read the books at all . Or else he would have seen the bringing up of the lower class Weasley's against the rich bastard Malfoy's... or Hermione's crusade against the enslavement of house elves.
