Look at those who hate her. Reactionary idiots who can't stand seeing a woman who isn't willing to take a back seat to her husband. Were she a man, I'd doubt she'd be subjected to such rancor.
Rednecks in the boonies may hate her, but even her Senate colleagues have expressed their respect for her in her job. She is intelligent, articulate, and compassionate, and she has represented the interests of her constituents quite ably, which is why New Yorkers are satisfied with her job performance.
There's nothing foolish about her. There is something foolish about people denegrating her out of their knee-jerk dislike for her politics.

Intelligent?
Articulate? Perhpas.. compassionate?
YEAH RIGHT! Actually I would have to say Condi Rice is my pick for a woman president. She has more brains then Hillary would ever have. She is highly articulate and has done her job extremely well. Check this out: http://www.rice2008.com/
Condi Rice's resume:
Education: Bachelor's degree in political science, University of Denver, 1974 (at age 19!!!); master's, University of Notre Dame, 1975; doctorate in international studies, University of Denver, 1981.
Experience: Professor, Stanford University, 1981-present; Soviet specialist, National Security Council, 1989-91; provost of Stanford University, 1993-1999; top foreign policy coordinator for candidate George W. Bush, 1998-2000. National Security Advisor 2001-...
So who do you really want as the first women president? Some idiot like Hillary Clinton, or a woman who has the smarts like Condoleeza Rice? Who not to mention got her BA degree in Political science at the age of 19!

. If Hillary ran as Hillary Rodham (ie, never married Bill Clinton) she never would have won. She won because she was wife of an extremely popular President. Of course many people win because of their fathers' names (Gore, Bush), but even they tend to be a bit more qualified for the job. I'd have prefered to see her work more in private life or for the next Democratic administration rather than jumping to Senator right away.
