    There have been more Anglo-French conflicts than the Norman invasion of 1066, you know? The Normans were just as much Vikings as they were French anyway.

    I expect Laz was referring to the Battle of Agincourt, where the English longbowmen totally kicked the ass of the French knights. Although God knows there are plenty of other examples to pick from too.

                      As for those battles, they made no difference at all in the long run.
