Labour are now trying to take the piss out of English people, this would be the Final Insult, and what appauls me more is that somebody from my very hometown, Rotherham, has supported this outragous move. Not meaning to put down Rotherham, the Home of English football, but it seems the people there have now lost thier common sense. I think it must be the smoke from the factories that has done this.
Hopefully I'll out of this country by 2006 though

I can see one big problem with this.
If the Union Jack gets changed, won't the other flags that incorporate it also have to be changed?
I can see Australians being furious about putting any black on their flag.
I think it's not a bad idea changing the Union Jack - but I also think this design could be improved on (where's the yellow and brown then?).Some cry `Allah O Akbar` in the street. And some carry Allah in their heart.

The Union Jack is a pile of crap anyway. Think about it. It's a vaguely lop-sided geometrical design intended to represent a crock of foreign saints (one of whom was entirely fictitious) and to commemorate an act of English political imperialism under a bunch of usurpers and Germans.

Laz, I think it's very smart flag, I consider myself more 'English' than British, but i use the Union Jack on here because i prefer it's vibrant design as opposed to St George's cross.Up The MillersComment
