I´m very surprised that almost everybody here listens to Rock only and hardly anyone to techno, pop, jazz etc. especialy since pop and techno started out about 25 years ago.

Oedo, this thread is for rock and roll songs and it's existence should not be used to draw inferences about other types of music enjoyed by posters.

        Techno sucks.

After making my votes, I noticed Jaguars restrictions. feel free to ignore my votes, but then in total please.
It´s ok when you say Rock only, but then I don´t see why the last 25 years only and leaving out the masterpieces that way. it doesn´t make much sense to me.

True, 25 years of rock misses out on the 60's and early 70's.

Dare i ask, what's your list? All Pet Shop Boys and Bronski Beat? Okay, that was low, but Frankine Goes To Hollyowood was pretty cool for it's time

I'd like to see a similar poll, but based on albums from all genres.

I sticked to Rock only, because it was requested so by JW in the title post.

However, my current MP3 collection consists for 60% of House and Jazz.

Since I'm at the office, I just put winamp in shuffle mode and this is what it came up with:

                        1. Megadeth - "Mastermind"
                        2. Deep Purple - "Lalena"
                        3. Zdob & Zdub - "Vai s-amar de capul meu" (romanian)
                        4. Billy Idol - "Rebel Yell"
                        5. Offspring - "Change The World"
                        6. Nazareth - "Love Hurts"
                        7. Judas Priest - "The Rage"
                        8. Ac/Dc - "That's The Way I Wanna Rock'n'Roll"
                        9. Therion - "Opus Eclipse"
                        10. Judas Priest - "In Between"
                        11. Judas Priest - "Burn In Hell"
                        12. Alice Cooper & Berry Wright - "No Tricks"
                        13. The Animals - "Talkin' About You"
                        14. Motorhead - "Louie, Louie"
                        15. Alice Cooper - "Stolen Prayer"
                        16. Megadeth - "Ecstasy"
                        17. Motorhead - "Killed By Death"
                        18. Rolling Stones - "Paint It Black"
                        19. Iron Maiden - "Sanctuary"
                        20. Heavenwood - "Flames Of Vanity"

There you go. I would have put the entire playlist, but it has 900 titles.

Oh, during this search, winamp also chose the entry at number 666, where I keep a recording of our former dictator Ceausescu saying "Happy New Year".

I have a CD of a local jazz band, if that counts. But only because I know the singer. And she's cute, too.

                                yeah - you're dangerously hip.
