Pointless bit of Dexy's trivia...they had 3 hits I can think of in the UK, Geno and Come on Eileen both being number 1, and their cover of Jackie Wilson Said getting to number 5. When they performed the latter on Top Of The Pops on the Beeb the production staff for reasons that are since lost in the mists of time put up a large picture of toothless British darts player Jocky Wilson...
...and yet the band played on...
(He's the one on the right)

High on you
Search is over.
Although the last three songs were with a different lead singer.
ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

So, which artists do you still listen to that made a single hit before disappearing?
I'll just rattle off a couple here that I can think of off the top of my head:
A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran (So Far Away)
The Verve Pipe - The Freshman
Lo-Fidelity Allstars - Battleflag
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
The Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive
I'm sure you all have some more than this.
Flock of Seagulls had two:
"I Ran" and "Space Age Love Song"
And the Bee Gees had so damn many they are permanently disqualified.- "A picture may be worth a thousand words, but it still ain't a part number." - Ron Reynolds
